Alongside many other new features in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google has rolled out an updated version of Android Beam -- one that allows you to transfer photos and videos between two devices equipped with Near-Field Communication technology, or NFC.

First offered in Ice Cream Sandwich, Android Beam already allowed you to share things like web pages, contacts, directions, and apps by tapping together two phones.
